CeLeBrAtE gOoD tImEs... CoMmOn!!!!

I know.... its been a long time since we last posted, and I have been told to post at least 3 times by Grandma Batchelor... so this is for you grandma.... and whoever else!

We celebrated Mia's birthday at Grandma Batchelors house. She was so excited to be able to have a party at their house this year!

Mia got to help Grandma decorate the cake. Grandma asked her how many candles to put on, and Mia wanted ALL of them! Because of course, they are pink... Mia's favorite! Unfortunately Mia only got her 4 candles. :)

Mia has been wanting a bike for a long time. She doesn't like to be left behind by the older kids! We sat the bike in front and the door was open the whole time... on purpose. Mia ran past at least 10 times... she didn't notice it though!

I got Mia some flip flops and I would ask her what she thought I got her... she would say, "I think you are going to give me flip flops!" I didn't tell her that I got her some so I asked her if she had been peeking. Mia said, "No.... I don't know what color they are!!!!"

Madi got baptized.... sorry about a month delayed! She was so happy that Grandma Batchelor got to come!

Sorry, I'm not sure how to flip the photos!

Madi & Dad

We got Madi to let us curl her hair... she never lets us!
I think that's about it... for another 2 months! :D

Flip flops are good... SOMETIMES!

Our family went to Provo on Friday and I really needed to go to the bathroom, so when we got home, I ran up our stairs on my way to the bathroom. Unfortunately I tripped on my face on the top step. Everyone else was still unloading the car so they got to see my great face plant. My dad yelled to me "Whit, are you ok!" I answered back, while getting up, "NO, but I really need to go!" When I got out of the bathroom, i came out and looked at my toe... there was blood all over my flip flops. It really hurt!

This is what we took off this morning. It got stuck to the scrape so I soaked it for about half an hour but it wouldn't come off... so my mom came in and jerked it off. I admit I was screaming too!
Just so you know, my toe is not rotten... just green toenail polish!

By the way, all of these were the day after the incident! I also soaked my toe for a half hour trying to get the gauze off that was stuck to the wound, my mom finally said get tuff and ripped it off! MEAN MOM!! That is the cause of the wrinkled toe!

Mia kept saying, "Whitney! Keep your yucky toe away from me! Your freaking me out!" Needless to say, even after this, I will probably still wear flip flops!

EaStEr DrEsSeS

We decided we better take easter pictures today. We only had time for Madi and Mia though.

Mia leaned back on the blanket, so her hair is kinda frizzy:)

Mia was not working with us!

Madi was thinking no one would know who she was with CURLS!!

Gettin' in the Valentines Spirit!

Today, I went to help Mia get dressed. I asked her what she wanted to wear. She said, "Sompin' warm and PINK!" Big surprise, huh! We found her some pink EVERYTHING, including a pink scarf she just HAD to wear to keep her warm, then headed to go show mom. When we got into mom we told her she was wearing pink everything and mom asked, "Even your undies?!" Of course, Mia had to check! "YEP!" They were pink too!

Mia's Thinking face...

I told her to do a pose, so she stood there with her thinking face and said, "What pose should I do Whitty?" Funny Mia!

This is one of the poses she came up with!

I tried to get her to blow a kiss, this is as good as we got!

Mia came over to me and said, "Whitney! Get off the computer and help me cut some hearts out!" What would we do with out our Mia girl!

Wedding Fun! (FOR SOME)

We were able to join in the fun for Alex and Tammy's wedding Thurs. and Friday. The girls enjoyed all of the lights, flowers and princess kind of things. As we see below, McKay enjoyed the adventurous side of the wedding with Chris!

Chris, Mia, Hutton and McKay "decorating" the car! Chris told them they had to drink the soda to use the cans on the back of the car. We finally poured it into a cup! Their little tummies couldn't do it! They also blew up balloons to fill the car, used 9 boxes of saran wrap around the car, and topped it off with silly string. McKay was finally in heaven!

It was freezing cold outside.....no coats!
Whit posing!
Loving all the flowers!
Grandma B., Uncle Mike and Mia! KISSES! Mia was so upset we didn't get to see Grandma very much. She also thought we were going to Grandma's house, so when we pulled into Deanne's drive way she asked if Grandma moved!
Weddings are for GIRLS!
We can't wait for the next one!
