Saturday, we took a little hike up the canyon. It was beautiful and so peaceful, just what we needed this weekend!

Our project is complete! We finally just broke down and bought a swing set for the kids. Mia and Madi's birthday's. It only took us a couple of WEEKENDS to finish it! The smiles that it made the first day were worth every penny and every hour of labor!
Yes, it looks like we plopped it into the dessert, obviously our project is far from finished. We are hoping to get grass and gravel....SOON!

Sunday afternoon swimming pond! COLD, but oh so fun!
Whitney Graduated the 6th grade. Our little school has a little Graduation for them, slide show, awards and all. The kids are not so excited to be leaving the comfort of this school! This mom is also a little hesitant!
Gotta love the small class....although this is only half of them (they have a combined class)!
Whitney and her friends did a Good Works 10 hr. project this past month. It was one that seemed to pull on my heart strings. They planned a bake sale for Cindy who is struggling with cancer. These girls have such big hearts. They came to our house a couple of times to make signs and plan what items should be sold. I loved having them in my home, each of them are so polite, and loving. What beautiful young women they are. They had the bake sale memorial weekend. It was rainy and cold, but they stuck it out and made a profit of over $300.00. The cute signs they had put so much work into at the end of the day were a watercolor work of art!
The girls choose to take the money they earned to Cindy. What a great day that was for them and myself. What a great feeling to see these girls be so willing to serve someone. Cindy was so grateful. Although it was not enormous amount of money, the girls were so happy to be able to help her.
After shedding my tears, I took the girls for lunch. They were so cute and so considerate. I let them choose where they wanted to go. Out of everywhere, they chose Papa Murphy's Pizza. What.... a pizza we had to bake!! Jana was so good to let them bake the pizza at her house. They figured it would be cheaper to buy it that way. How cute is that! I was buying....what TEENAGERS worry about that! It was a great day to let the girls visit. MaKayla had just moved and they were so excited to get to see her again!

Mia and Addi both had the same swimming suits. Their mom's didn't even go shopping together. Megan got Addi's a couple months ago and my mom got Mia's last month. We thought it was pretty funny. Then another little girl came and she had the same swimming suit too!
We had such a great time we didn't want to leave!
