We then headed out for St. George. We enjoyed a soup and salad lunch at Olive Garden....yummy! I certainly stopped counting the bread sticks I ate! Meg and I gave mom and Kimala a break from the wild 2 year olds for a minute and went to some other stores, while they visited another fabric store. We met up again at Costco, I know exciting (shopping with a purpose, Marcus has me on a strict budget!!) After the little girls ate their second lunch at the sample tables we made it out. The girls earned their "flushy" (as Addi calls them)....Mia drank all but 1/4 of her slushy before we left St. George. We did make a quick stop to buy a new Barbie movie for the drive home, but still that is a lot of liquid for a small tummy to consume. Whitney is getting just a little tired of "I feel connected," on the Diamond Castle dvd, although it is still our favorite!
As we hit New Harmony area my van started doing some interesting things. I am not a mechanic, but Meg thinks she is and thought it was the transmission. When we got about to Kimala's I was wondering if we would even make it. We called and asked Cole to check it out. What an awesome Brother-in-law I have, he has helped us out so many times with our car issues. Ya we probably need to just get rid of the thing! He gave us the go ahead to drive the rest of the way home. How glad I am that he is knowledgeable about vehicles. I do have to thank Dan for his advice also, he mentioned that we should check the blinker fluid! (ya he was just joking).
Okay, so I will finalize this post, with one last funny thing. So while we were waiting for Cole to make his diagnosis, we feed the girls dinner. Kimala was feeding Dawsyn her baby food, and Mia asked, "does that make Dawsyn poop?" We all laughed and told her that it probably does! It wasn't until I was telling Marcus later that night that we figured out why she asked that. Holly and Savanah have the "Baby Alive babies," and they feed them baby food and then set her on the toliet to go poop! That is what she was expecting from Dawsyn! Too funny... isn't it amazing how 2 year olds think!
We enjoyed being with some of the girls. When is the next sisters day. If Jacie isn't doing a house painting project I call it!! Oh but I need the interior decorator to step up!!
