more Summer Summer Summer Time!

Whitney enjoyed her trip to  Kimala's so much!  They worked on these cute boxes filled with cards for the 24th benefit auction.  Kimala also took her to do some school shopping.  I am thinking that I should send each of my kids with her, they don't come home so happy after shopping with me and the little girls all day!  Whitney has been looking for someone to do the fun stuff with her.  Thanks Kimala for letting her experience some fun!

Madi was in needof some mom time.  She saw a barbie cake and really wanted to make one, after putting her off for a week, we finally got it.  We had to make the cake one day and finish it the next.  Our version is the simplified one.   She was so proud to decorate it herself.  The cabbage patch doll made a perfect size for the mini dress.

Mia enjoyed licking the spoon!
This is what happens when parents go for 5 minutes.  Chet and Coquette came home to this in their yard.

Movie Night at the LEWIS'

Marcus and the boys got a wild idea to watch a movie outside.  It was a perfect evening for it!  We popped popcorn, had candy bars and a drink for everyone.  Who knows if the little ones watched or not, but they loved the movie treats!

I hope they always enjoy coming to my house, even when they get all grown up!

By the way we double posted so view on my friends!

Oh what do we do in the SuMmeR tIME

Last week was a fun filled week.  We had a kid swap.  Kimala had Whitney, and I had Addi.  Marcus was at UREA (youth leadership camp), McKay was with me, his Dad and Baseball.  Needless to say I was on the run, all week.  We were able to visit Marcus who was 20 mins. away from McKay's games. The kids enjoyed a few of the ropes coarse activities for a few minutes.  What a busy week.  Addi had so much fun with the girls.  We finally took her to see Grandma the last night she was here.  We live across the street, but Grandma didn't even get to see her the 4 days she was with us.

No picture of the All-star baseball.  Too many things going on who remembers a camera, we were lucky to get the white undies packed for the baseball pants!!  They played really well, but were beat out on Friday.

Walking the tight-rope and swinging on the rope swing!  We didn't try the high falling activities!
Cute girls with cute faces!

Kelsey attended the camp this year.  What a cute girl!!
Marcus had the assignment to play Taps in a program for the 4th.  He hadn't played for 15 or more years.  We thought he did great!  No he did not pass out afterward....he was just flushed!!

Camping trip in Hatch:  We had rain, good food, fun cousins, caves, mud, bow and arrow shoot outs, b.b. gun contests, lot of treats, and little sleep, and yes we will still go back next year.
Notice the muddy socks....yes I just threw them away!

This hill was pretty steep for these little ones, they trudged through the mud and rocks, lost shoes..and filled undies with dirt to play in the cave!
This is our "CAMP HOST", taking his shot at the targets.  He was great to take care of all of us whimps (maybe that was just me!) He and Wes were great with the kids.  They made bows, and taught the girls how to make necklaces.
Oh yes... he would probably try to shoot them both at once...never underestimate the power of a boy!
Rusten rode up the mountain in the back of the truck, falling asleep like this!  He remained there until most of the unloading was done!
